Royalty and Refund Policy

Once the author successfully sells 100 copies within the 6-month period, the royalty will automatically increase from 10% to 100%.

After completing the 100-copy sales within the 6 months, the ₹7,500 contribution will be reimbursed to the author.

If the author fails to achieve the sales of 100-copy within 6 months, the ₹7,500 contribution will not be refunded.

Once the sale of 100 copies is completed, the book will continue to receive worldwide distribution, and the author will thereafter receive 100% royalty.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Step 1: Prepare Your Submission

Send the following to publish@wordu.in

Concept Note – Outline your idea, target readers, word count, and market focus.
Synopsis – A concise overview of your work, including main themes and storyline.

Two Sample Chapters – Chapters that best reflect your style and tone.
Author / Illustrator Bio – Brief introduction, background, and achievements.

Note: Name your files clearly with your name and book title.

Step 2: Editorial Review

Our team reviews submissions within 7 days and responds with one of the following:

Accepted – You will receive a confirmation along with suitable publishing models tailored to your vision.
Requires Revision – In rare cases, we may suggest improvements. However, as promised, your work will never be rejected.

Step 3: Upon Acceptance

Once your work is approved, you’ll receive the publishing contract along with complete details.

You can then choose between our two publishing options:

Standard Self Publishing Model – ₹14,999
Publishing Contribution Model – ₹7,500

Step 4: Publishing

Once the manuscript is shared, your work will be published within two months in eBook and paperback formats worldwide. Our marketing team will actively promote your book to enhance its visibility and reach a wider readership.
